General Duties and Responsibilities

• The ICT Head is expected to plan, organize and execute all ICT functions and capacity building programs.
• He/she is responsible for the architecture, hardware, software and networking of computers including directing all ICT operations and assists the users of the network and systems, installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems. Ensure effective and efficient use of information and communication technologies and the smooth running of our Automation Management Information Systems (AMIS) and all the computer systems as a whole.
• He/she will be responsible for enforcing the ICT policies and roll out new ICT products and policies, training of staff and monitoring and upgrading of IT infrastructure.

Job Brief

• He/she will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
• He/she will supervise the implementation and maintenance of company’s computing needs.
• The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of software and hardware, LAN/WLAN.
• Perform any other duties related to the job position.

Job Requirement

• Proven working experience as an ICT Manager /Head.
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
• Expertise in data center management and data governance.
• Hands on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
• Ability to manage personnel.
• A/MSC in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Information Systems or related field with eight (8) years of relevant work experience out of which two(2) years are on managerial position.
• A/BSC in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Information Systems or related field with ten (10) years of relevant work experience out of which four (4) years are on managerial position.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Amharic languages.
