 GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the general supervision of the Cost Division Head, the Junior Cost Accountant is responsible for posting and maintenance of cost ledgers pertaining to cost/profit centers or projects, which shows labor, material, overhead, selling & administration expenses.

 TYPICAL DUTIES

•  Journalizing and Posting goods receiving Invoice and Store Issue Voucher for r/materials, premixes and finished feeds.
• Collects source documents, vouchers and posts transactions to appropriate cost and budgetary accounts related to cost/profit centers or projects, if any.
• Journalizing and Posting goods receiving Invoice and Store Issue Voucher for General Inventory Items.
• Preparing Cost Accumulations and follow up all the source Documents related to Foreign purchase like (Commercial Invoice, Purchase order, Performa invoice, bill of Loading and Debit Advices from Bank.
• Monthly Inventory Reconciliation our Ledger Record vs. Store Inventory
• Reports to senior, cost accountant or Cost Division Head if undue advance Purchase request is insisted by a requesting body.
• Totals and balances subsidiary ledger and control accounts related to cost/profit centers;
• Assists in the reviewing of the monthly computer extraction statements of all cost/profit centers and other accounts;
• Ensures all the necessary data are maintained and updated regularly.
• Follow up Other Activities related to Cost and Budget.
• Perform related duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirement

•  BA Degree in Accounting/Finance
•  Knowledge of Peachtree accounting

Experience

• 0 year of work experience is required.
