Job Summary

The FG Receiving Store clerk is responsible to perform administrative tasks to support the Finished Goods Store Supervisor, proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision, can work under pressure when required, ability to anticipate and rapid decision making, team player with communication skills, ability to interpret documents such as Logistic policy and procedure

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shipping/receiving of finished goods, Receive, unpack, check, and store goods.
  • Process all received finished goods  and other items accurately
  • Maintain inventory accountability. Record and maintain control of all finished goods inventory items.
  • Responsible for correctly shipping/storing materials according to regulations as well as  government  Safety guidelines
  • Operate warehouse equipment including a forklift, manual/electric pallet jacks, and scrubber. Load and unload material utilizing hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment.
  • Disburse/deliver all miscellaneous items, and tag capital equipment/assets.
  • Quality control for incoming finished goods (Incoming Inspection).
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse area
  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures
  • Cycle count inventory locations in the various areas
  • Assist other  areas of operations as required
  • Maintain distribution of various waste streams – (scrap from production)
  • Performing work orders as they are assigned throughout the day
  • Assist Operations as assigned

Job Requirements

COMPETENCIES: -

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and purchasing software.

·         Strong communication and negotiation skills.

·         Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.

·         Attention to detail.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:-

·         Vocational Scool diploma in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred.

Experience: -

·         3 years of relevant experience in warehousing preferably in FGCM sector.
