Purpose of the Position/Job/
The WASH MEAL and Proposal Development Coordinator will work under the direction of the WASH Technical Design, Monitoring and Quality Assurance manager and will be responsible for managing the knowledge base strengthening activities. S/he is responsible for establishing and run the activity monitoring systems including data collection, analysis and reporting to support sound management of the activity interventions. Moreover, S/he will engage in any WASH projects proposal development work. The successful candidate will have skills and experience that meet the following requirements.
Job Description
Engage in the preparation and contextualization of appropriate monitoring and evaluation guidelines, designs, training manuals and standards on WASH and update the same
Conduct monitoring and evaluation (M & E) on WASH projects
Assist the WASH Director in projects/program monitoring; and participate in meetings, workshops, conferences and seminars pertaining to project MEL activities;
Organize learning and Accountability events for linking, learning, best practices and innovation;
Closely work with Resource Mobilization team to identify and prioritize geographic areas for potential WASH funding opportunities; Develop donor landscape mapping, propositioning and donor engagement plan for effective WASH grant acquisition;
Manage the development of WASH proposals for strategic donors, working closely with Resource Mobilization who develop, oversee, and negotiate partnerships with donors and provide guidance on proposals.
Support the development and maintenance of an efficient WASH grant proposal and projects MEL tracking system; reports.
Ensure and monitor whether major cross cutting themes including environment, gender, protection, disability, peace building are in place.
Job Requirements
Have MA/MSc, BA/BSc in Statistics, Economics, or other related field
Experience: 6 years of experience for Masters level and 8 years for Bachelors level
Other: NGO experience preferred; MEAL and database management experience
Knowledge of or interest in humanitarian programs, as well as a commitment to WV mission, vision and core values;

Software application
Training of Project Management Effective in written and verbal communication in English.
Experience in WASH
Other team management exposure and basic computer knowledge (word, Excel, lotus note) and advanced knowledge of current up-to-date design software.
Complete Travel and/or Work Environment statements if applicable.
Work environment: Office-based with frequent travel to the field
Duty Station: Head Office
