Plan International Ethiopia is looking for Camp Coordinator for Asossa Emergency Response Project, Gure Shebolla who will be reporting to the Chief of Party.

Accountabilities
Overall Camp Management & Coordination
Responsible for oversight and management of all sector officers, national staff Refugee staffs in all sectors.
Report on Camp Management issues to the Plan Emergency Response team and the local authorities through weekly assessments
Effectively coordinate with key partners namely UNHCR, UN Agencies and other NGOs
Establish effective mechanisms for the participation of camp residents – in particular children – in decision making on camp life
Ensure the delivery of all camp activities in accordance with Sphere and HAP standards
Establish complaint mechanisms that enable camp residents to raise concerns on relief and camp activities
He/she works in close collaboration with the Programs Coordinator and Office on Child Protection, Education and youth program, the quality of activities, and reporting obligations.
He/she have more of operation and liaising/representation function at camp level and have a monitoring role to ensure all officers are leading the implementation of the activities as per their DIP & weekly Plan..
He/ She contributes to data collection on safety issues in his/her field of operations and disseminates them to the Program Operation Manager / ERM or identified Security Focal Point regularly or on an ad-hoc basis if urgent.
Strengthen communication and coordination with other humanitarian service providers and establish a referral mechanism with them
Supervise all contracts and services related to construction, camp maintenance and infrastructure, and other related services, in collaboration with construction supervisor and program Operations Manager
Supervise all distributions of NFIs to camp targeted population, taking maximum care to ensure accountability.
Coordinate and integrate with all activities by all humanitarian partners to avoid duplication and monitoring that protection considerations are mainstreamed in all sectors.
· The Camp Coordinator is responsible for the management of program activities and operations in the camp, and logistics related to the management of the camp and actively promotes the participation of target population and Children in the camp.
