Job Description
1. Ensure smooth running of production as per market requirement
2. Coordinate with marketing for daily/weekly production planning and scheduling
3. Manpower planning and control including overtime
4. Develop new methodologies for improving productivity and reduce wastage
5. Lead train and guide production & quality personnel
6. Ensure safety rules and procedures at work place
7. Initiate administrative sanctions in line with labor proclamation, CBA, work rules and safety rules in place
8. Practice good housekeeping and visible shop floor management
9. Follow ISO procedures- participate in the regular ISO audits and initiate corrective & preventive actions
10. Track and monitor all plant and other mechanical system to identify areas that need timely attention.
11. Control & issue of raw materials to production department
12. Be accountable for all raw materials, work in progress & finished goods stock on the shop floor and ensure daily handover of finished goods in totality
13. Ensure autonomous maintenance on machines and adhere to the preventive maintenance schedule
14. Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
15. Take overall responsibility of quality control of incoming/in process and outgoing materials
16. Sample testing and providing testing reports
17. Coordinate overall ISO activities and audits in organization and be custodian of all ISO procedures
18. Attending customer complaints, analyze, and find the root causes to initiate remedial measures
19. Participate in monthly management reviews
20. Expected to perform any other work upon request by line managers
Qualifications:
BSc degree in Engineering related fields (Mechanical, electrical, industrial) with 4 years experience in manufacturing company
Good understanding & Knowledge of manufacturing and machinery
