Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Reports to:  General Manager

Main purpose of the position: 
Responsible for managing the company's marketing initiatives. Uses market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning. Oversees the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Reports marketing and sales results to senior executives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
  • Formulate, direct, or coordinate marketing activities or policies to promote products or services, working with advertising or promotion managers. 
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
  • Compile lists describing product or service offerings.
  • Direct the hiring, training, or performance evaluations of marketing or sales staff and oversee their daily activities. 
  • Manage market information related to competition, changes in the industry that affect the business
  • Consult with sales and production teams on product specifications such as design, color, or packaging.
  • Manage customer relationships and communicate customer feedbacks with sales team 
  • Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends. 
  • Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services.
  • Develop and optimize online marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition;
  • Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website

Job Requirements:

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Qualifications required:

  • Minimum academic qualification: BA in Marketing Management/Management or any other related business studies

Experience required:

  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Industry: Manufacturing
