Job Summery

The Senior Officer, IT Project Management is responsible for managing risk, quality and progress of ICT projects to the Bank’s standards, and ensures projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agrees scope.

Job Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualification & knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Software Engineering or any other equivalent field.

Prince 2 or equivalent qualification or relevant business experience.

Experience

At least five (5) years of a Project Management role in an Information Technology environment

Required Technical Competency

Excellent knowledge and experience of using project/change management concepts and methodologies e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, LEAN, (or equivalent), and the project development lifecycle.

Significant knowledge of complex ICT systems interfaces and impact

Experience of developing capabilities of ICT to meet business needs, including I.T. systems requirements specification.

Experience of managing stakeholder relationships within complex projects with the ability to manage and resolve conflict, meet challenging deadlines and delivering under pressure

Ability to undertake research, interpret complex documents and brief managers using Plain English

Excellent IT skills, demonstrating significant degree of IT and project literacy ideally developed through project delivery on complex, high profile IT projects.

Experience of risk identification, mitigation, and management

Procurement and/or Contract Management experience

Experience of working within a housing environment

Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other office applications.
