HST Consulting is looking for experienced, energetic and committed Chief Executive Officer for one of its esteemed clients engaged in a diversified business.

The Chief Executive Officer is expected to provide leadership to the entire business operation of the company for the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational targets and overall business aims.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategy Development

  • Lead development of the overall strategic direction; be entrepreneurial and innovative when setting future directions, goals and objectives.
  • Communicate organizational strategy, direction, and objectives in a timely and effective manner.
  • Oversee the operational plan for the organization; be responsible for growth, stability and sustainability.

Business Development

  • Set realistic and attainable goals for overall business development of the company; ensure progress against plans.
  • Enhance and strengthen business development activities through active participation and guidance; expand and deepen influence across the industry network
  • Identify patterns and opportunities; assess growth potential and competitors in complimentary businesses; participate in efforts to partner / collaborate with new firms.

Internal and External Stakeholder Management

  • Identify new stakeholder relationship requirements; nurture and develop new relationships as required.  
  • Act as an integrator of solutions; align internal and external stakeholder needs to business objectives.
  • Oversee the development of comprehensive relationship solutions; meet or exceed client objectives and expectations.

Operational Delivery

  • Oversee organizational scope, deliverables, work effort, schedules, budget, costing, timelines, roles and responsibilities; accountable for organizational results and outcomes.
  • Monitor to ensure agreed upon deliverables meet time, budget and quality parameters.
  • Ensure the integration of all enterprise projects / programs; ensure high quality service and support; meet client needs and expectations.
  • Maintain relationships across all teams and departments; lead and participate in regular meetings.

Business Management

  • Analyze major capital and operational expenditure requirements, make decisions and oversee progress against established metrics.
  • Review appropriate activity and financial reports to determine progress, status and risk in attaining objectives.
  • Oversee enterprise cost control, quality assurance and postimplementation reviews; ensure compliance.

Operational Effectiveness

  • Continuously improve timeliness of organizational delivery while balancing quality and price of products and services offered.
  • Measure the quality of services to external stakeholders and internal clients, analyze trends and implement changes where applicable.
  • Ensure operational, reputational, and proprietary risks are minimized; ensure appropriate governance structures are in place.

Performance Management

  • Ensure performance objectives are clearly defined and articulated; ensure performance reviews are completed in a timely and comprehensive manner; provide ongoing informal performance feedback.
  • Ensure positive incentives are in place for good performance; ensure system is fair and equitable.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  •  A Master’s Degree or above in Management, Business Administration or related discipline from a reputable university and a least 12 years’ working experience with minimum 5 years in a senior management position.
