The company is seeking to hire a PROACTIVE, ORGANIZED, COMPETENT and EXPERIENCED Management

The MIS Officer is responsible for creating and maintaining standard operating procedures, best practices, and manuals for various departments within the company. This role involves correspondence with suppliers, detailed analysis of import documents, market research data verification, and preparation of monthly commission reports for market promoters. Additionally, the MIS Officer collects and compiles data from various sources, analyzes it, and forwards insightful information to managers to support informed decision-making. The officer ensures that all processes and documentation meet the company's standards and support efficient and compliant operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

Develop, review, and update SOP documents to ensure efficient and consistent operations across different departments.
Collaborate with department heads to understand workflow and integrate best practices into SOPs.
Ensure SOPs are compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

2. Best Practices and Manual Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive best practice guides and manuals for various departmental functions.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to familiarize staff with new procedures and documentation.
Regularly review and update manuals to reflect process improvements and changes.

3. International Suppliers Correspondence and Order Follow-Up:

Communicate with suppliers to follow up on orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
Manage import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin etc.
Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders and import documents.

4. Import Document Analysis:

Analyze import documents for accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Suggest and implement corrections to import documentation to prevent delays and penalties.
Maintain detailed records of import transactions for audit and review purposes.

5. Market Research Data Analysis:

Verify and compile market research data collected by on the ground market promoters.
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management to support strategic decision-making.

6. Market Data verification:

Verify and cross-check data provided by market promoters by calling customers and other actors along the supply chain

Job Requirements

BSc Degree in Management Information Sytems, or in a related field with relevant work experience.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role.
